Information you provide
When you make a gift, we receive your name, email address, billing address, gift amount and frequency, where you asked it to go, any comment you add, whether you chose to cover processing fees or to receive our letters, payment reference and payment status. A fundraiser link may associate your gift with that fundraiser. Contact and pledge forms collect the information you choose to send.
How we use it
We use this information to administer gifts, respond to requests, maintain financial records and understand fundraising results. If you ask for our letters, we add your email address to our mailing list. Please do not include card details or sensitive information about a young person in a donation comment or pledge form.
Payments and service providers
Stripe processes online payments on its own checkout page. Your card details do not pass through our website forms. We use Google Cloud for hosting and storage, Google Workspace for email, and ERPNext for donor administration and the messages sent through our forms, except messages about a young person, which are kept out of it. These services process information needed to provide their services.
Access and retention
Access to donor administration is restricted to authorized staff. Financial and contact records may be retained for operational, accounting and legal needs. Operational backups also contain records. Contact us with questions about access, correction or deletion; some records may need to be retained to meet legal obligations.
Cookies
Staff sign-in uses a session cookie. This website does not use advertising trackers. Stripe has its own privacy and cookie practices on its checkout page.
